The Gaudy Clown Crab, (Platypodiella spectabilis), is a small crab that hides at the base of algae, under rocks and anemones.
Clown Crabs eat zoas and palys, and actually sequester the palytoxin in their bodies as a defense mechanism. The bright colors are a warning that they are poisonous. They make their homes burrowing in sponges and zoanthid colonies. Llike most crabs he seems to eat anything that fits in his mouth.
